as a war movie set in ancient times, it's not bad.
as the story of troy, it's entirely inaccurate to the myths and leaves much out.
Just got back from Shrek 2 myself. If you liked the first one you'll definitely like this one. Puss 'n Boots is the shiznit, lol. And be sure to stay through the first part of the credits.
